Airing BU’s Laundry, is an anonymous student run public art installation. The hope is to generate conversation through art, both on campus and in the community, about the prevalence of rape culture. Further, we aim on exposing Brandon University Administrations failure to protect students, by maintaining the motto “no rape happens here”.
The art will include survivor’s stories, statistics, university administration quotes and messages to survivors that their stories and experiences matter.
We anticipate this installation will positively impact the way we talk about talk about sexual abuse. More importantly we hope this project will help create a safer and more inclusive campus for all.
